Type of Peer Review

IDEAHCI 2025 uses a single-blind peer review process, where the reviewers know the identities of the authors, but authors do not know the identities of the reviewers.

How Reviewers are Selected

Reviewers are assigned to papers based on their expertise and knowledge. Our database of reviewers is continuously updated. Authors are welcome to suggest potential reviewers, though these recommendations may or may not be considered.

Reviewers are asked to assess whether the manuscript:

  • Is original;
  • Is methodologically sound;
  • Follows appropriate ethical guidelines;
  • Has results which are clearly presented and support the conclusions;
  • Correctly references previous relevant work.

Please note that reviewers are not responsible for correcting or editing the manuscript’s language. Language improvement is not part of the peer review process.

Decision on the Manuscript

Once the peer review is complete, the author will receive a final decision on whether the manuscript is accepted or rejected, along with any feedback or suggestions from the reviewers. This may include verbatim comments.

Director’s Decision is Final

The editor considers the advice from reviewers but is ultimately responsible for the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.

No Show Policy

Papers that are not presented during the conference will not be included in the final conference proceedings.
